Strict Tempo band
Tango Tea at the Waldorf
Yesterday Cornucopia played another tea dance at the beautiful Waldorf Hotel in London. From 2-5pm we accompanied the dancers as they showed their stuff on the gorgeous Art Deco marble floor - the Quickstep, the Waltz, the Jive, the Rhumba, the Foxtrot, the Cha-Cha, the Viennese Waltz, the Samba, the Salsa and of course, the Tango. The dance instruction and partners were provided by Jenni Kravitz of Simply Dancing Partners. Cornucopia plays a mixture of traditional and modern tunes for strict tempo - much like Strictly Come Dancing, so yesterday's repertoire spanned from La Cumparsita (Tango) to Valerie (Quickstep). The next one is on 11 April - book here.
