Live Band Karaoke night on Wednesday

Rockaoke night

So, it's that time of the month again when Cornucopia will be rockin' Brixton at the Hootananny pub. From 9pm till the early hours you can come and be a rockstar for 5 minutes and be backed by the best band in the business (nice alliteration there!)...

Don't forget, this Live Band Karaoke is available to take to your event should you want it, or it can simply be tagged onto the evening if you book the whole band.

Hopefully see you there!

Rockaoke

More Live Band Karaoke

I've been worried about using the title Rockaoke, as there's a band by that name, but it seems it's the name given to Live Band Karaoke anyway... sometimes spelt "Rockeoke". Anyway, whatever it is, we do it, and we do it WELL! Come down to the Hootananny, Brixton on Wednesday 6 June (no footy this time!) and be a rock star for 5 minutes. Check out the video below from the last one... Free entry, starts 8.30pm. video

Live Band Karaoke

at the Hootananny, Brixton, 1 April 2009

Cornucopia and the Hootananny are pleased to present "Live Band Karaoke" - a chance for you to sing with a fantastic live band backing you. This was started in the USA as Rock Star Karaoke, and there are not many bands doing it over here. There will be a list to put your name on (first-come, first-served) and sing one of the songs from the long selection provided. Tell your friends and bring a crowd, this promises to be a fantastic night out. This is your chance to prove to your mates that you CAN sing! For more details, contact Richard on the Cornucopia number...

The Hootananny, Brixton

Last-minute gig...

Cornucopia played a very sudden gig at the Hootananny in Brixton on Friday - the band who were supposed to be playing were, apparently, the wrong side of the Severn Bridge! It was a cut-down band, but the punters seemed to love it - we were feeling ever-so funky. We had Glenn Bridges on bass and Tommy Stankovic on guitar for that one, and I sang lead vocals. I think we'll be back there soon - perhaps headlining - who knows...
