Yes folks, time to make your way through the snow down to the Hootananny in Brixton to strut your stuff on stage with Cornucopia. Kicking off at 9pm, we have changed the format slightly and will be providing 3 sets of 9 slots for you to fill... So get yourself down there early to make sure that you get your requests in...

It's that time again... for the Live Band Karaoke at the Hootananny. Tonight folks, come down to the Hootananny in Brixton and rock out and sing with a live band backing you. It's awesome! 9pm-12.30am, free entry.

Staying on top of it all...

Rockeoke. Rockaoke. Live Band Karaoke. Popeoke. Bandeoke. Abbeoke. Swingeoke. What next? Punkeoke? Gangstaoke? Rapaoke? Thrashaoke? Or we could get more specific... how about Amyeoke (for Winehouse fans), Tinaoke (Ike and Tina), Queeneoke, or Stockaoke (for Stock, Aitken and Waterman afficionados). We could have 80eoke, Chicaoke, Robbieoke, Stevieoke, Elvisaoke... or we could go for styles of dance - how about Lambadaoke, Salsaoke or even... (wait for it!)... the Hokey Cokeyaoke!

Jumping (literally) on the bandwagon just has to be done, but I'm exhausted doing it... I've been trawling the web just to find the latest trends for my industry just to stay afloat! Triumph though - just managed to buy www.rockeoke.com - nobody had snapped it up!

So, it's that time of the month again when Cornucopia will be rockin' Brixton at the Hootananny pub. From 9pm till the early hours you can come and be a rockstar for 5 minutes and be backed by the best band in the business (nice alliteration there!)...

Don't forget, this Live Band Karaoke is available to take to your event should you want it, or it can simply be tagged onto the evening if you book the whole band.

I've been worried about using the title Rockaoke, as there's a band by that name, but it seems it's the name given to Live Band Karaoke anyway... sometimes spelt "Rockeoke". Anyway, whatever it is, we do it, and we do it WELL! Come down to the Hootananny, Brixton on Wednesday 6 June (no footy this time!) and be a rock star for 5 minutes. Wednesday 1 April sees the first of our Live Band Karaoke nights at the Hootananny in Brixton. £3 on the door, starting at 8pm, this is your opportunity to sing with a superb live band - choose a song from the extensive list available and sign your name next to it. Bring your mates down too for support, and get them to perform. This promises to be a great night, and the beginning of a regular monthly event for the Hootananny, which is a great venue. If there is a particular song you would like to sing, get in touch with an email and we'll see what we can do... This type of event has been made popular by bands like Bandaoke and Rockaoke - come along and see what we can do!

Cornucopia and the Hootananny are pleased to present "Live Band Karaoke" - a chance for you to sing with a fantastic live band backing you. This was started in the USA as Rock Star Karaoke, and there are not many bands doing it over here. There will be a list to put your name on (first-come, first-served) and sing one of the songs from the long selection provided. Tell your friends and bring a crowd, this promises to be a fantastic night out. This is your chance to prove to your mates that you CAN sing!
